Weight-loss Update

March 23, 2008 marked my significant other and my one year anniversary of living the Low Glycemic Lifestyle! On March 22, 2008 the scale told me that I had lost 80 pounds!!! Low GI ROCKS!

did you know that sugar is the food for the brain? and if you aren't diabetic, sugar must be an important part of your diet, the food you need to avoid is carbohidrates, red meat, fat fast foods, pasta and some mexican tacos or tortas, try instead drinking water, and nothing but water to complement your food, if you don't exercise you may develop "weak muscles sindrome", now do you think that this diet work, believe me I been here before and it DOESN"T WORK.

Love your story!

I love your committment to your lifestyle and the way you and your husband did it together. My husband would never give up his sugar! He's lucky he's still thin. (Arg!) I am on a low GI diet for the last 3 weeks. It's working out pretty well. Found out I have PCOS and want to get pregnant, so had to change my eating habits. It's all ok, I haven't lost much weight but got alot of muscle now.

Your story of how you run now is encouraging. I have been exercising but not pushing myself much.

Keep up the great work. Trust me, I know it's hard. What a blessing to have your husband do it with you (or, more correctly, you doing it with him!!!)

Diet is about what you eat AND what you think. No diet works if your head isn't in the game. I think this time my head is more in the game than it has ever been.

The only way that i was able to lose some pounds of fat of my body was exercicing, walking and running.

If all of this is true, where is the picture from six months ago, do you think that every person that you got their e-mail addresses is stupid, or don,t understand the before and after, and if you publish a picture after two days that mean that somebody has change the real image or modified the picture

I NEED TO LOOSE AT LEAST 30 LBS.......

I JUST DON'T REALLY KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, HAVE BEEN OFF AND ON DIET'S ALL MY LIFE EVEN IN HIGH SCHOOL....... I AM DESPERATE...... I LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND I DON'T SEE MYSELF ANYMORE....... I DO EAT SOME JUNK, BUT I DON'T REALLY LIKE MEAT, I LOVE SALAD AND VEGE......... I HAVE FIBROMYALGIA AND I AM IN PAIN 24/7 WHICH DOESN'T HELP ANY EITHER...... BUT I REALLY TRULY WANT TO TRY THIS GI DIET....... I THINK IT IS THE WAY TO GO, I JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START, I KNOW IT WILL TAKE SOME RESEARCH ON MY PART...... CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS.......THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS .......SEASHELL
