If your can read a stop sign you can do this diet. Foods are broken down into Green (very low gi) , Yellow (mid range) and red (eat very little of only occasionally). I lost 22 lbs, dropped my A1c fro 6.9 to 6.1 (in 4 months) which for a type 2 diabetic was excellent. I still follow it. It is healthy, filling and very easy. The Canadians and Aussies and Brits are light years ahead of us on low gi dieting. It is time we catch up.
